WCE Friendswood, Texas Chapter Local Leader Holly Rodenberg, Realtor
A little about Holly:
"Hello! My name is Holly Rodenberg and I am a Houston Realtor. Before starting my real estate career I was a elementary school teacher for 12 years. I loved teaching and being able to bond with my students and their families. Once I started having a family of my own I realized that being a teacher, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend just became very hard. I needed more flexibility in my schedule so I could balance it all and have time for myself as well. My husband has been such a big encourager for following my passion. I've always been interested in real estate and finally I decided to take the plunge and go all in. I love that I still have my teaching role but I am teaching adults about buying their first home, selling a home, or even about investment opportunities.
I am all about self care. You can't pour from an empty cup. When I am not working or playing with my 2 girls( ages 5 and 2 ) I love to shop, bake, watch tv, read a good book, and get together with my girlfriends for a glass of wine and charcuterie board."
WCE Friendswood, Texas Chapter Local Leader Amber Kaplan:
A little about Amber:
"My name is Amber Kaplan, and I am a Loan Officer Assistant with Jackson Henry Mortgage in Spring, Texas. I am originally from Deer Park, Texas where my family began planting my entrepreneurial roots. My Momma owned the only printing shop in Deer Park for almost two decades and I shadowed her every summer as she provided products for various businesses such as chemical operation plants, Deer Park Independent School District, the local little league team, and so many others.
While pursuing my Bachelor's of Science at the University of Houston-Clear Lake I worked for two different real estate agents continuing to learn the ropes of sales and eventually accepted the role as the Director of Sales Marketing & Production for one of those agent’s entire Commercial Real Estate team. After firming my roots in League City, Texas I started my role as a Loan Officer Assistant in 2021.
I don’t take the “assistant” in my role lightly – in fact, I get to enjoy the relationship building side of the lending process. I am solely responsible for making connections with individuals and families, providing education on the homebuying process, and I get to set the building blocks to place them in the right hands for their various needs. You’d be surprised by the amount of time I spend speaking with others and the recommendations they ask me for!
