Meet the Sugar Land, Texas Local LeadersWCE's Sugar Land, Texas Chapter Local Leaders is Kim Pedicini of Juice Plus! A little about Kim: “Six years ago I was on a multitude of prescription medicines, all having unwanted side effects where another prescription would be written (even Norco). And, I was SICK of it! A friend noticed the struggle and introduced me to fruits and veggies in capsules. My life forever changed! I got off my meds (slowly), have had less inflammation, more energy, amongst so many other positive impacts to my body & mind. Now, my mission is to help others the way I was helped. Just by introducing them to real food, for real life. It is one simple change that can impact their entire family. I've worked in healthcare marketing for the last decade. I was tired of being there for people after the injury, when they are feeling their worst, when they are getting one more medication added to their list. I am happy to now be helping families prevent diseases, feel better and LOVE fruits and veggies. As a former (seems like a lifetime ago) Division I College athlete, I have recently been wondering what my swimming career would have looked like with more whole food nutrition, rather than Taco Bell and cafeteria food. I now spend my time riding my Peloton with my former teammates and swimming for leisure. I find myself running around, after my almost TWO year old son and taking him to swim lessons. I also love to chill, after bedtime, my husband and I lay low and watch a good movie or catch up on Netflix. I LOVE empowering women, being there for them and supporting them. Sometimes we, as entrepreneurs, feel like we don't have a "team," WCE is our way to find our team, our support, and have FUN in the process!” |
