A little about Marissa:

Hi, I'm Marissa Burres! I am originally from Panama, and I have called Houston my home for over two decades. My passion for teaching led me to spend 15 incredible years as a high school Spanish teacher. I'm a proud mother of twins and happily married. Volunteering is a big part of my life, I am involved in four committes for the Houston Rodeo and other nonprofits like Big Brothers Big Sisters. I thrive on helping others and organizing events that bring communities together.

Recently, I opened Aesthetica Organic Spa in the Bellaire area. My aim is to provide a natural approach to enhance beauty and wellness, redefining the traditional spa experience. Alongside owning a spa, I'm also passionate about being an influencer in social media, connecting with almost half a million women who follow me across different platforms.

I enjoy living life to the fullest and sharing that energy with others. You'll often find me indulging in activities like running half marathons, painting, cooking, dancing, and exploring new places through travel. And, of course, networking and meeting new people. I am excited to champion and uplift fellow women, fostering a network of shared success and motivation." Let's connect!

A little about Kristina:

Kristina has over 18 years of real estate and property management experience which she has translated into the financial services space with the launch of Five Buffalo Capital, LLC. As COO and Co-Founder of Five Buffalo Capital, LLC., Kristina is able to marry her passion for creating value for residents and tenants with obtaining returns for investors and serving the community at large. Kristina enjoys finding solutions to problems, planning and executing strategies, and bringing people together. Networking and connecting people who can support each other in life and business is invigorating for Kristina. She is an avid reader, sports fanatic, and loves learning new things. Kristina and her husband enjoy traveling, visiting historical sites, and trying new food whenever possible. Kristina volunteers as a dog walker with the Houston Humane Society and serves on the House Corporation Board for her sorority chapter at Oklahoma State University.

A little about Darla:

Darla McLemore's career spans 25 years in the realm of Multi-family Property Management, where she expertly managed multi-million dollar assets and played a key role in developing strategic initiatives in Financial Analytics, Marketing, Recruitment, and Operations. Her leadership journey has always been focused on empowering women, as she witnessed firsthand the many challenges they face often without adequate support.

In a courageous leap in 2024, she established Emerald Street Designs, a venture born from her love of jewelry that aims to provide women with affordable and stunning pieces that spark confidence and empowerment. A Houston resident for nearly 30 years, Darla is a proud Texan who enjoys spending time with her family and immersing herself in diverse culinary experiences and travel adventures.
