A little about Lakeisha:

I'm the mom to five beautiful girls(one of which is my bonus daughter) and married to the man of my dreams. Im originally from Lafayette, LA and have been in Texas since 2016. My background is in Child and Family Studies, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette May 2002. I've always loved cooking and learned from some really awesome cooks(my aunts) and was taught the key ingredient in any dish is love. Food is synonymous with Love! I established La Browns Catering in 2015 and kick things into high gear in 2019. In 2018, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and by December 2021, my organs started shutting down until I received a life saving device(LVAD). It helps my heart pump blood throughout my body and organs. For the past two years I've been a patient ambassador educating (with Abbott Pharmaceuticals) others on heart failure and my experience. I've been featured in: Woman's World, Newsweek and Essence magazines and done several television and radio interviews.

A little about LaDonna:

Meet LaDonna- a Chicago native and graduate from Western Illinois University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising, is a Licensed Esthetician and Founder of Dainty Soul, LLC, a Luxury Skincare Brand that provides Mobile Spa Services in the Houston area.
